Job Title: Stibo Developer (Remote)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implements data policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines concerning data collection, access and management
- Sets technical direction for the overall MDM solution architecture, defines component architecture, reviews detailed designs for accuracy and overall compliance to defined architecture across the complete data lifecycle
- Verifies design of overall Infrastructure and supports the build of the environments
- Works with business process experts to help identify functional requirements
- Supports Data Mapping Phases with proper technical analysis
- Supports the identification of objects and data elements to be managed, specifies the policies and business rules for how master data is created and maintained, describing hierarchies, taxonomies, or other relationships important to organizing or classifying objects, and assigns data-stewardship responsibility to individuals and organizations
- Analyzes impact of future topology changes in the environment
- Defines data governance strategies and roadmaps for MDM programs
- Provides input and assistance through requirements, design, development, test, and deployment project phases. Includes data model, data matching and merging rules, survivorship criteria and data stewardship workflows using MDM tools
- Ensures that strategies translate to business requirements and models into feasible and acceptable database designs to ensure that business needs are met.
- Ensures master data integrity in key systems as well as maintaining the processes to support the data quality.
- Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve data quality problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control and improvement, or process design strategies
Job summary/Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or comparable major.
- Very good with STIBO data modeling, scripts, workflow, event processor etc.
- Processes master data requests timely and accurately
- Java and/or JavaScript, data and database design, SQL, XML, Linux, and Web services.
- 7+ years of experience aligning IT systems with organizational business processes
- 3+ years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an IT-related or Engineering field.
- 5+ years of health care industry experience
- 3+ years in the role of an MDM Architect and leading large Master Data Management program for a full System Development Lifecycle
- 3+ years experience in Enterprise-level Master Data Mangement platform such as Oracle MDM, Informatica MDM, Stibo Step MDM, Riversand, etc
- 3+ years experience on models of MDM implementation
- Knowledge of basic Object Oriented Programming and Database concepts of Java, SQL, etc.
- Knowledge of MDM trends, MDM Concepts and other technologies in the market
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
