Test Engineer:
This Manufacturing Test Engineering Organization Team Lead position directly supports the F-35 SoftWare Installation Facility & Test (SWIFT).
This position is 100% on site.
The F-35 SWIFT directly supports Final Assembly and operates to the factory roll-out tempo. F-35 SWIFT performs OFP Loading & System Checkout of myriad F-35 avionics subsystems to include the following subsystems: FLCS VMCs, AMS, PCD, HMDS, ICP, CNI, EW, RADAR, EOTS & EO DAS.
This position is responsible for all aspects & execution of the SWIFT mission to include:

Test Engineer:

This position is responsible for all aspects & execution of the SWIFT mission to include:
- Direct day to day operations & priorities to support the Final Assembly tempo.
- Direct complex problem solving related to F-35 Prime Mission Equipment (PME)
- Direct troubleshooting, maintenance, & oversight of complex SWIFT test capability.
- Work as part of a larger team responsible for the testing of All F-35 Systems & Sub-Systems on the aircraft.
- Engage as the technical expert with IPTs, Suppliers, Labs & more to drive root cause and corrective action for flyable PME
- Direct & provide post-mortem analysis of PME that has failed on-aircraft in Final Assembly and Delivery Ops
- Modernization: Interact with Mission System IPTs, Labs & Program Management to ensure SWIFT configuration stays Ahead of Ready.
- Author & maintain complex system checkout procedures (SCOPs) for use by Production Operations.
- Test Equipment: Design, Develop, Test, Maintain & Train use of test equipment.
- Support the MTE Projects Team with the project management & acquisition of Test Equipment & Support Equipment.
- This position requires a minimum Secret Clearance with ability to obtain Special Access to start. This position is located at a facility that requires Special Access.
- This is a 4/10 1st shift position. Must be able to work overtime and support weekends as business needs require.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a STEM discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, etc.)
- Experience leading projects or teams in a direct or indirect role.
- Troubleshooting experience with complex Electrical &/or Avionics systems.
- Experience with LM Tools such as SFM, PDM, JEDI and/or JDL
- Software Programming Experience
- Computer Hardware Maintenance/Repair
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with 5th Generation Avionics Subsystems
- Experience in F-35 Production Operations &/or Engineering
- Able to successfully participate in a fast-paced test environment & make difficult decisions under pressure.
- Able to learn quickly, enjoy challenges, work independently & as part of a team.
- Confident work ethic to take initiative and full ownership of complex tasks to drive results
- Strong communication skills, both verbal & written, are required to communicate with peers, internal & external customers, management, & production technicians daily.
