The Opportunity
This role will provide you with the opportunity to:
- Perform functions requiring knowledge and experience in engineering principles to support BV Gas, Fuels & Chemicals solutions
- Prepares and verifies engineering deliverables
- Collect, assimilate, and manage data for engineering work
- Create process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
The Team
As part of BV Operations, our Process Solutions sector includes Gas, Fuels & Chemicals and provides services from consulting, design, full engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and commissioning/start-up of LNG facilities, Floating LNG facilities, gas processing and NGL fractionation, gasification/ gas to liquids, hydrogen, and ammonia/fertilizers. The value chain spans natural gas and natural gas liquids, midstream, wholesale markets, power generation and utility segments. From small community improvements to grand-scale Mega Projects, you will be Building a World of Difference through infrastructure growth and development while learning and focusing on your own individual development. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in designing industrial instrumentation and control systems
- Experience in preparing and verifying engineering deliverables
- Experience in performing research and developing recommendations for I&C equipment
- Desire to interface with large teams of engineering and design professionals in US-domestic and foreign offices to develop I&C engineering and design deliverables.
- Working knowledge of MS Office tools.
- Experience in gas, fuels, and chemicals or power generation is a plus
- Experience with SmartPlant Instrumentation a plus
Minimum Qualifications
Certifications
Engineer in Training (EIT) license preferred (or plans to pursue it)
