We are looking for a qualified Software Engineer to join our Core Systems team with the primary focus being on analysis, troubleshooting and support of legacy systems. You will assist in supporting long standing industry leading solutions that continue to add value to our clients.

What you’ll do:

• Support mission critical legacy software
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing code and be able to read and understand different coding techniques
• Work through a design documentation to create executable code to achieve the desired outcomes from the design.
• Be a team member working together on large projects to accomplish goals by completion dates
• Write code with the mindset on quality and in creating secure code using best practices

What skills you need:

• Strong knowledge in COBOL, DB2 and SQL
• Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to interact professionally with others
• Ability to articulate code design and functionality to non-programming team members
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

What makes you stand out:

• Fluent in other languages especially C, PHP, Classic Visual Basic & SQL Server
• Understanding of financial/banking products, services and processes

Annual salary starting at $74,500 to $93,100*

• Actual compensation will be based upon factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
