What you'll do:

In this role you will have the opportunity to design, develop and test analog and DC/DC power converters circuits for electronics used in commercial, military, and space products. You will also support test development as needed.


The day-to-day:
  • Design for harsh environments including airborne and space applications
  • Work in a collaborative team of electrical, mechanical, manufacturing and test engineers
  • Ensure successful product development and transfer to production
What you'll need:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with Power converter, DC to DC, power circuit design/layout, stress analysis, worst case analysis
  • Experience with SPICE based simulators such as PSPICE or LTSPICE
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
What will help you on the job:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Previous internship experience is a plus
Salary range: $78,100.00 - $129,350.00 / annually : At Viasat, we consider many factors when it comes to compensation, including the scope of the position as well as your background and experience. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
