Job Summary:


The Manager, IT Security Compliance position leads Aldevron’s IT Security Governance, Regulatory and Compliance (GRC), exhibiting leadership for oversight of all business objectives and required control requirements related to GRC systems and related data, the development and recommendation of the strategic direction for this area including use and engagement of most areas of the OpCo, their systems and risk data, and building and maintaining a highly effective GRC systems and operations support team. This position is fully remote and will require approximately 25% travel, often to headquarters in Fargo, ND.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and management of overall GRC IT Security Risk technology strategy working with Director, IT Security and IT leadership. This includes development of a roadmap to leverage current systems and future investment. Provide thought leadership in evolving the vision of the broader risk systems landscape.
  • Acts as Product Owner for GRC systems and environment, including responsibility for all control requirements, audit and regulatory reviews, and escalation of any security issues. This includes prioritization and implementation of enhancements and maintenance of effective processes.
  • For configurable systems, directs the development of system changes, utilizing standard change management and version control to move the changes from development into production, with Technology support.
  • Leads development of all training, testing, and required documentation with end users and all stakeholders. Primary responsibility for vendor management of selected systems including contract negotiations, service levels and incident tickets. Maintain compliance with all technology, information security, corporate and related policies and standards.
  • Lead the development of enhanced risk methodology within the current technology project processes that aligns with the corporate strategy and the enterprise risk framework.
  • Represent Enterprise Risk, acting as a point of contact, with Technology and other business divisions around key efforts to ensure risk data, information is properly maintained within GRC that enables an end-to-end view of risk across the organization.
  • Proactively seeks and implements opportunities to leverage the Enterprise Risk GRC solutions in and outside of Enterprise Risk.
  • Manages the activities of team members and coordinates working relationships with other Enterprise Risk teams and regular communication with Senior leadership.
  • Monitors industry and industry trends and works with senior management to maintain and update technology strategy aligned with business objectives.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Computer Science or related discipline
  • 8 years project/program management and system enhancement experience with demonstrated success in translating business strategy and objectives into delivered projects
  • 5 years’ experience working in the GRC systems with responsibility for executing support and enhancement functions within the system and demonstrated leadership of same
  • 3 years experience in at least two of the following solutions – issues management, risk assessments, business resiliency, enterprise and operational risk management, or vendor management
