About the job
We are looking for a talented, highly motivated ServiceNow Director to join the Enterprise Technologies team within SAS’ Cloud and Information Services division. SAS is currently executing on the largest digital transformation in our company’s history. The expansion of our ServiceNow Platform is a key element and is essential to achieving our strategic goals of being IPO ready in 2024, driving profitable growth, and delivering value for our customers and partners. To accelerate the delivery of new capabilities on the ServiceNow Platform, we are looking for a candidate that has led or been a key participant in the successful delivery of a complex ServiceNow program and is desiring to apply that valuable experience to help SAS reach our goals.

As a ServiceNow Director, you will:
  • Drive the strategic direction of the ServiceNow platform to align with corporate business strategy, existing software roadmaps, and platform governance.
  • Manage a team comprised of subordinate organizations as well as individual contributors that develop, administer, QA, and provide business analysis on the ServiceNow platform. Mature and evangelize the overall ServiceNow roadmap and governance processes within CIS and across SAS.
  • Allocate resources to support concurrent projects as well as ongoing support.
  • Build business justifications to support additional funding or resources needed to support and enhance the ServiceNow platform.
  • Maximize the ROI and time-to-value of the business outcomes provided by the ServiceNow Platform for SAS and its customers.
  • Engage regularly with key internal stakeholders, the ServiceNow Account Rep assigned to SAS, and members of the ServiceNow community to stay abreast of new capabilities that will provide further value to SAS.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of ServiceNow experience in large, complex environments.
  • Minimum of 15+ total years of experience and at least 10 years of management experience.
  • Deep understanding of the ServiceNow Platform and ability to consult with key stakeholders on the use of ServiceNow to address business needs.
  • Experience serving as the ServiceNow Platform Owner.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams at once while meeting deadlines and implementation targets.
  • Experience managing regular platform upgrades and the implementation of additional modules for the ServiceNow Platform.
  • Proven track record as a collaborative leader of individuals and development teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience implementing or maintaining the following ServiceNow modules: ITSM, ITOM, CSM, IRM, PPM
  • Experience with the implementation and ongoing support of a ServiceNow Government Community Cloud environment.
  • Experience leading global development teams (US and Pune, India).
