Software Developer (All Levels)
Job Description
As a Software Developer with our team, you will be working with our federal clients to rapidly develop innovative solutions for our clients’ immediate mission challenges. In your role, you will work with a team of other developers, data scientists, SMEs, and cyber analysts to design and develop new applications and integrate new solutions on existing applications. You will be asked to analyze our clients' challenges and provide solutions by identifying and applying new tools and technologies and developing various types of applications. Developer responsibilities include programming, debugging, and working in a team environment. In this role you will also be asked to regularly communicate with your team, team lead, and clients to provide progress status updates.
- Apply the latest state of the art technologies
- Develop cutting edge solutions to maximize the performance, stability, and distribution processing of systems
- Develop cutting edge solutions to maximize systems performance, and scalability
- Work in an Agile environment to rapidly iterate with our clients
- Programming knowledge in some of the following languages: Python, Java, JavaScript.
- Database experience with some of the following products: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB.
- Understanding of software testing and quality assurance best practices.
- Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proficient with git, and pull request workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering/ Development or related fields
- Junior-Level: 1-2 years of professional work experience.
- Mid-Level: 2-4 years of professional work experience.
- Senior-Level: 3-5 years of professional work experience
- Expert- Level: 5+ years of professional work experience.
- Must possess an ACTIVE Top Secret with SCI and Polygraph clearance.
Desired skills and knowledge:
- Ability to support multiple projects.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience working in cloud environments.
- Knowledge of the python web frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
- Ability to learn and work on different parts of a software stack.
- Familiar with Agile development methodologies and working in an agile setting.
- Proficient using Python3.
- Compensation will vary based on level.

Salary at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements), and is just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package for employees.
