The Information Architect is responsible to establish and enforce the framework that supports how the Service and Operator information is produced and delivered to optimize the customer experience and the business efficiency.

This role can be remote.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and expectations.

  • Understand the information development lifecycle and the interaction with product development.

  • Develop and enforce standards, data models, information structure and dataflow that support the different types of information Customers need.

  • Develop and enforce rules and templates to optimize reuse of information.

  • Develop and enforce rules and templates to optimize translation of information.

  • Ensure the content management process meets the business efficiency expectations and the customer’s needs.

  • Support the Modality adoption of new global tools, processes and standards.

  • Support implementation of AI-based tools into the information development ecosystem.

  • Develop Technical Writers expertise and awareness to leverage available technologies.

  • Mentor Technical Writers to drive improvements in content quality and usability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in English, Technical Writing, or a similar field and 5+ year experience writing and editing product documentation

    or Engineering Degree in Electrical or Mechanical and 3+ year experience writing and editing HW product documentation

    or technical degree in Electrical or Mechanical and 5+ year experience writing and editing HW product documentation

  • Demonstrated proficiency in XML Authoring and Editing tools

  • Demonstrated proficiency of DITA methodology

  • Demonstrated proficiency in working with a Content Management System

  • Proven ability to work independently and in teams

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal, verbal communication, presentation skills and technical communication skills.

  • Ability to understand theories and concepts, and convert them in efficient process or executable rules: high-level thinker and strategic planner

  • Fluent in English, verbal and writing

Desired Characteristics

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

  • Support compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible
