Lockheed Martin Space in Englewood, CO is seeking a full-time Early Career Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will: learn system control mechanisms used in control of spacecraft vehicles propulsion and vehicle dynamics during high-altitude, high-speed flight, develop qualifications as LMCO Certified Product Engineer, lead troubleshooting, issue resolution and brief status to FRBs, QRBs, and other leadership reviews toward final resolution, and lead resolution of mechanism issues from design to final integration.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, Mechanical Control Systems Experience, and Mechanical Design Tools (e.g., SolidWorks) Experience. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
