The Workday Compensation Analyst will provide expertise in the set-up, administration and configuration of the compensation modules in Workday. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, day to day Workday support activities including configuration, data management, stakeholder support, issue resolution and to provide technical training and guidance for end users. The incumbent will be partnering closely with other Workday module owners to maintain a strategic roadmap for the Workday ecosystem. This role is fully remote.


Essential Job Duties:

Partner with internal functional leaders to design, test, and implement Talent and Compensation initiatives within Workday to meet compliance and business needs of Labcorp globally, while maintaining consistency and accuracy.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Compensation set-up and administration of Workday as part of the Annual cyclical processes (merit, bonus, equity)
  • Maintain the set-up of Workday Compensation based on needs defined by the Compensation team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data/system related issues
  • Manage both day-to-day Help Desk tickets as well as Compensation related Workday Inbox items and ensure that SLAs are met, assist in producing metrics on volume and trends on operations, build solutions like training/communication to reduce the volume as needed; provide best in class customer support
  • Participate in Workday upgrades – collaborate with other HR functions/Workday Module Owners to plan for upgrade, build test scripts/UAT plans, testing/validation, deployment and end user training
  • Maintain data accuracy and integrity within system through regular review and audit of data.
  • Create/maintain documentations for end to end support processes that impact Workday operations; ensure desk side materials/job aids/SOPs on system configuration, business process admins, security admin as well as other areas are up to date
  • Be a change lead and provide effective communication to other stakeholders/end users; collaborate with functional owners on development of end user training materials; Participate in delivery of technology training as needed on new functionalities

Experience Required:

  • 1 - 3 years of Workday Compensation experience
  • Strong configuration knowledge of Workday with a focus on compensation
  • Workday certification(s) a plus
  • Experience with all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, support and documentation
  • Experience with translating functional requirements into technical specifications
  • Strong project management, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Critical thinker with attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to deliver with sense of urgency in a fast-paced work environment with tight timelines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively interact and influence individuals at all levels within the organization

Required Education:

4 Year Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or Human Resources Management

Project Management Certification and/or Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus

Pay Range: $90,000 to $125,000 annually
