Workday Analyst - Remote
Job Description
The Workday HCM and Global Talent Management Analyst will provide expertise in the set-up, administration and configuration of the HCM and Talent modules in Workday. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, day to day Workday support activities including configuration, data management, stakeholder support, issue resolution and to provide technical training and guidance for junior team members. The incumbent will be partnering closely with other HR Technology team members to maintain a strategic roadmap for the Workday ecosystem.
Essential Job Duties
Partner with internal customers and implementation partners to understand business objectives and key HR drivers behind those objectives.
Configure, implement, test, deploy and support functionalities within Workday HCM/Talent and Performance, including required reporting, data conversion and troubleshooting
Act as configuration expert, partnering closely with HR Operations or points of contact for each of the functional areas
Configure, implement, test, deploy and support functionalities within Workday HCM/Talent and Performance, including required reporting, data conversion and configuration.
Research, diagnose and resolve issues collaborating with other team members
Partner with stakeholder to develop business requirement documents, functional specification documents and test plans
Responsible for monitoring and resolving Core HCM/Talent and Performance implementation tickets within a timely manner
Create and maintain custom fields, objects, validation rules, etc. to meet business requirements.
Regularly perform data integrity audits and validation and follow up with appropriate steps for corrections if necessary.
Collaborate with HRIM leaders responsible for day-to-day support of Workday configuration requests, access requests, troubleshoot and resolve data/system related issues, mobile support, etc.
Complete assigned projects including scoping, project plans, adherence to schedule, testing, communications, and supporting change management.
Execute mass data changes in core systems, ensuring highest level of data integrity and customer service as needed.
Monitors reoccurring issues, system/data or process gaps and proactively identify potential sources of increased efficiency and enhancements
Deep understanding of Business Process administration across Workday
Participate in Workday upgrades/regression testing – collaborate with other HR functions/Workday Module Owners to plan for upgrade, build test scripts/UAT plans, testing/validation and deployment
Education/Qualifications
4 Year Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems or Human Resources Management
Project Management Certification and/or Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus
Experience Required
Minimum of 3+ years of HRIS experience
Strong configuration knowledge of Workday HCM, including Core HCM, Talent and Performance.
Workday certifications a plus
Experience with all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, support and documentation
Experience with translating functional requirements into technical specifications
Strong project management, problem solving and analytical skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to deliver with sense of urgency in a fast-paced work environment with tight timelines
Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively interact and influence individuals at all levels within the organization
Pay Range: $90,000 to $125,000 annually
