Lynden Incorporated is looking for talented and motivated Software Test Developers, who can demonstrate strong testing abilities and a drive for quality to join our team!
Lynden Incorporated, a Transportation and Logistics Company, is seeking a Software Test Developer who will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining automated and manual test scripts. Must have experience in JavaScript or Jscript. We’re looking for someone who is a team player, used to working closely with other IT departments, and has a drive for high quality; someone with self-discipline who enjoys owning challenges, getting the job done, and moving on to the next challenge.

What you need to know:
Work Environment – Corporate office setting
Work Schedule – This is a hybrid (In office and remote) position with flexibility on work schedule. Regular attendance and timeliness are essential functions of this job.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Works closely with customers, project stakeholders, business analysts and team members to understand business processes and workflows. Translates business processes and workflow into test cases for manual and automated test case development.

Develops test cases using multiple test methodologies. Creates test scripts for desktop, mobile and web applications using test automation tools.

Documents and tracks issues found and assists in their resolution. Develops reports for test results and works with project teams to ensure their review and disposition.

Design and Implement test tools and infrastructure that will be utilized across multiple development teams.

Working in conjunction with IT departments and business teams to develop, publish, implement and maintain IT quality assurance standards, plans and procedures.

Conduct research on latest test tools, trend, and methodologies for current and future projects.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with an emphasis in technology and 2-4 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Strong interpersonal and communications skills to facilitate work with technical personnel and business managers/administrators. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers and clients.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Two years’ experience in software test development, documenting defect and test case flow in a business environment is required.

Must have knowledge of software development lifecycle, and understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Must have experience with one of the coding languages:
  • Jscript
  • Javascript
Good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills with a proven track record of excellent customer service skills, effective communication with teams, and providing technical guidance to users.
