Job Description:

Alder, a premier home security/alarm broker, is seeking a highly skilled and independent technician with experience in the installation and servicing of NVR camera systems. As a technician, you will be responsible for installing and servicing indoor/outdoor residential camera systems, running and concealing cable, testing equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning properly, and managing personal inventory. We require a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and a high level of professionalism when interacting with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform installation and servicing of outdoor/indoor residential camera systems

• Run and conceal cable, including cat5

• Test equipment and systems to ensure they are functioning properly

• Provide exceptional customer service during interactions

• Manage personal inventory

Qualifications:

• Punctuality and adherence to daily schedule

• Willingness to learn the company's installation process

• Strong customer service, written and verbal communication skills

• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license

• Ability to pass standard background check

• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools

• Attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

• Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining quality work

• Knowledge of basic electrical concepts and principles

• Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

Job Type:

This is a full-time/part-time position, with a flexible schedule of 4-8 hour shifts. Weekend availability is a must, but no work will be required on Sundays.

Experience:

• Prior wiring/camera experience preferred

Work Location:

The job will require being on the road in the greater Columbia Area.

Pay:

The position offers competitive commission-based compensation for each installation/service performed, with a bonus structure included. Additionally, we offer aggressive commissions for upselling opportunities.
