Job Description
Primary Function/General Purpose of Position
Decontaminates, reassembles, sterilizes, and dispenses instruments for the Operating Room and other hospital departments. Provides sterile supplies, certain stock supplies, and other selected items needed for patient care. Maintains Code Blue carts for use throughout the hospital.
Employment Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Certification as Registered Central Service Technician preferred.
- Previous central sterile experience required.
