Senior-Product Development Engineer
Job Description
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Assist in defining the high-level solutions/options including system impacts, key features/functions required, custom development needs and integration points across the full solution: internal Tech Dev delivery, Network impacts as well as any vendor impacts. Contribute or facilitate discussions with customer and business lead to outline various solutions/options (including system impacts, estimates (cost/time), pros/cons). Enable a technical product life cycle matrix that will drive alignment with all stakeholders on the requirements as well as a critical input to the design and architecture. May elaborate the business requirements into the technical requirements by leveraging their technical knowledge to create basis Visio Flows, PowerPoint Flows/Use Cases, or other technical documents to help articulate the full solution, API impacts/changes, identify all use cases (including edge cases) and provide input into the various architecture, design and interface specifications and provide separate artifacts to external parties. Support non-functional requirements, identifying and remediating procedural and resources gaps in support of operational readiness. Perform risk analysis, related contingency planning, and subsequent defect management to ensure world class delivery of best-in-class IoT products and services. Will lead or contribute to all work entry, project information forms, project scope documents and tickets/processes to initiate or kick off the engaged with all impacted systems and vendors. Maintain solution alignment with all stakeholders at all times.
Qualifications -
Required Qualifications -
- 3-5 years’ experience in Product Realization
- 3-5 years’ experience in Project Management
- 3-5 years’ experience in technology development in mobility domains
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to thrive in the face of ambiguity
- Appreciation of Agile principles in a waterfall environment
- Expert in Microsoft suite of applications, including 365, Visio, and Project
Desired Qualifications -
- Experience with AT&T ATO processes and applications (e.g. PRISM, PMATT, BOLT, Enterprise 1)
- Knowledge of AT&T IT architecture.
- Experience in E2E testing, including test plan creation, execution, and defect remediation
- Experience in product design and development
- Knowledge in transport network technology (Protocols, equipment, services)
