Job Description
Position Summary:
The Systems Administrator maintains and supports the organization’s multi-user software applications, information technology systems, and related technologies. Radiology Imaging specific
Support includes but is not limited to first line for Cherwell user tickets, daily system checks of the DICOM routers, Rhapsody integration engine check, all UAR’s, PIC’s environment check for Phillips PACS, Dynasuite Hobbit check, Commvault status, Powerscribe checks, and NMIS system check.
Responsibilities:
Essential Functions
  • Troubleshooting, problem resolution and documentation.
  • Independently performs analysis of business and user needs.
  • Able to execute project plans for system updates and implementations.
  • Independently performs system testing and documenting results.
  • Assists in training the customer on basic use of the application.
  • Perform system configurations, test, debug and document configuration changes.
  • Independently performs dictionary maintenance, table management and/or data entry
  • Knowledgeable in system monitoring.
  • Assists in implementation of configuration changes.
  • Has a basic understanding and ability to support IT application system architecture.
  • Able to setup workstation and/or server administration as appropriate to the application.
  • Implements system fixes supplied by the vendor.
  • Maintains growth statistics, space forecasts, and software/hardware inventories. Defines standards definitions regarding data
backup and recoveries as appropriate to the application.
  • Assist in planning and implementation of system software upgrades.
  • Independently serve periods of on-call coverage at scheduled intervals.
  • May be required to support unplanned events during after-hours and weekends.
  • Maintains appropriate system security to meet state or federal regulations and to insure the confidentiality of all data.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Other Related Functions
  • Understands the core business practice and the customers supported by the technology.
  • Acts as a liaison between the business unit and Information Technology (IT) to resolve any IT-related issues.
  • Maintains communication with IT managers and team members.
  • Participates in a positive collaborative relationship within IT and between IT and customer departments.
  • Assists in the assessment and planning for appropriate system solutions that best fit current and future business requirements that
are consistent with Orlando Health’s long-range plans.
  • Stays current with applicable technology to maintain and increase job knowledge.
  • Establishes measurable goals for professional enhancement.
  • Shares knowledge and information to educate and cross-train other team members.
Qualifications:
Education/Training
Bachelor’s degree required. Associate’s degree and two (2) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section). Four (4) years of directly related work experience may also substitute for the Bachelor’s degree (in addition to the requirements listed in the Experience section).

Experience
Three (3) years’ experience in the implementation and/or support of information technology applications.
