Position Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Software Development Analyst familiar with the software lifecycle process with design problem solving skills and ability to communicate clearly to join our C5ISR team.
This Software Development Analyst will be responsible for the on-line Help system development, proto typing, code development, testing, and maintaining release documents, setting up testing environments, and other tasks as assigned for a suite of Windows desktop applications using C#, Xml, Robo Help, Word, Notepad++, and Visual Studio Microsoft .NET. This suite of applications interfaces directly with military radio platforms; while no experience with radio technology is required or expected at the beginning, the Software Development Analyst will be expected to manage and learn their responsibilities despite potentially being unfamiliar with radio vernacular.
Working under supervision of a small team, the Software Development Analyst will help with a variety of tasks related to development: online help, user interface design and implementation, back-end programming, testing, maintaining testing environments, maintaining deployment processes, and updating documentation as deliverables for the client. Our small team is responsible for the entire project, so each team member must fulfil several different roles throughout the whole software development cycle.

HII's expertise in wireless communication includes 50+ years of performing RF Engineering for DoD, gov. agencies, and commercially both in the US and overseas, analyzing, and formatting spectrum data, including frequency assignment, spectrum certification, LiDAR, and other geo-referenced data. Our Scientists and Engineers support diverse tasks such as spectrum forensics and deconfliction, testing for coverage amid urban clutter, and antenna site planning. HII's RESED team offers opportunities from projects supporting international satellite coordination in space to countering IEDs. Our work is increasingly important in a world that depends on well-coordinated, interference-free spectrum access.

Come support our work with the Department of Defense and join a world class team of groundbreaking scientists and engineers!
