Job Details:
Job Summary: Applies fundamental engineering principles, procedures and techniques to perform well-defined mechanical engineering assignments and routine structural analyses following designated standards and procedures. This position typically works under close supervision and direction.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports basic design of mechanical components.
- Obtains, correlates and analyzes technical information for designated products and/or customer applications.
- Reads, interprets and prepares data for engineering drawings.
- Performs mechanical layouts.
- Prepares test plans.
- Conducts engineering tests.
- Prepares documentation.
- Assists in the writing of component specifications.
- Prepares reports, charts and graphs.
- Keeps up to date regarding improvements in mechanical engineering techniques.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Four-year college degree in mechanical engineering or related technical discipline. Effective written and oral communication skills. Ability to use typical office automation products such as word processors and spreadsheets. Mental ability to perform analytical work. Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks and work under deadlines. Good interpersonal skills.

81896 - $
95,871 + benefits.
