Job Summary:
As an Environmental Integration Analyst, you will be responsible for data analysis and reporting that will drive the strategy and initiatives for Walt Disney World Resort's environmental targets and goals. You will report to Environmental Integration Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
Focus on work that helps to drive decisions and measure progress for initiatives and strategy
Build roadmap planning and optimizations including analyses of historic data and forecast planning related to emissions performance and initiatives
Assist in the development of reporting frameworks with new measurement methodologies, metrics, and key performance indicators
Support the development and maintenance of a variety of reports and dashboards for locations to track measurements for environmental initiatives
Present data and communicate the findings as expectations around data visibility will continue to grow
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and partners across the Walt Disney World Resort
Assist with other work and projects as needed for the team including waste studies, pilots, events, and more
Basic Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a sense of ownership and pride in delivering quality results
Previous experience balancing multiple tasks and meeting goals while working independently with minimal direction
Comfortability facilitating data and analyses to partners at all levels including non-technical audiences
Success in collaborating with a range of partners and understanding multiple perspectives
Prior experience translating quantitative analyses into compelling and useful recommendations
Proficiency in basic computer functions necessary to operate in a Windows environment and other technologies
Schedule availability may include weekends, variable shifts, and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in data analysis
Experience with data visualization or business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
Proven success developing and maintaining reporting dashboards
Prior environmental work experience with waste, water conservation, energy, etc.
Understanding of The Walt Disney Company's environmental goals and targets
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in an analytical/qualitative field (Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science)
Preferred Education:
Master’s Degree in an analytical/qualitative field (Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science)
