POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Business Product Owner must partner with other Business Product Owners, Technical Product Owners, Operational Leaders, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders across the enterprise to evolve Accredo’s Product Strategy to improve customer experience (patients, caregivers, prescribers, and clients), deliver internal mechanisms to drive smarter business decisions, and improve value.

Primary Functions
Serves as the customer proxy by understanding key business objectives and the strategy of the product.
Works with Product Management, Pharma, Operations, and business stakeholders to maintain and prioritize product backlog for legacy Specialty applications.
Partner with Ops Liaisons to maximize user adoption and Ops readiness
Partner with TPO stakeholders to deliver new capabilities in order to drive value for the Specialty business.
Lead E2E initiatives from a BPO perspective and ensuring all dependency partners understand the capability and build required
Partner with CBPO to assess business value and prioritize all work to maximize value in line with product strategy.
Partner with the Value Team to determine savings being delivered for a feature/capability
Partner with CBPO to ensure product development strategically aligns with Accredo’s current and future state platform strategy
Partner with CBPO to develop creative solutions to get the most out of a feature from an efficiency and value standpoint
Communicates the product roadmap clearly in partnership with CBPO
Partner with the Training Team to create thorough and concise training materials for consumers of the product
Develop and communicate concise presentations (formal and informal) independently and in partnership with Chief Business Product Owner.
Communicates the success of capability delivery to senior-level leaders across Evernorth
Works with the Service Excellence Team to prioritize tickets for bugs and enhancements
Maintain lists/configurations for delivered features until handed off to the appropriate owner
Define KPIs impacted by new capabilities
Operate as the de facto leader of the scrum team- BPO, TPO, Developers, QA, etc.
Represents the product in Accredo initiatives, committees or meetings as needed.
Streamline processes to improve throughput, quality and service level agreements.
Creates User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, ensuring stories clearly communicate Customer/Stakeholder needs to the development team; works with team to clarify and refine stories as necessary.
Responsible for final decisions on product functionality.
Reviews test cases related to product capability deliverables in support of agile process
Create and maintain internal SOP’s to improve efficiency
Understands and supports inter-team dependencies and escalate issues when necessary.
Key contributor to reporting and analysis of team metrics
Analysis of complex business situations, including distillation of the issues, developing insights and potential solutions, and driving appropriate conclusions.
Create strategies to leverage Technology to drive business value.
Participates in and prepares for PIPE planning events.
Participates in team demo, retro, and Inspect and Adapt.
Understands and supports inter-team dependencies and escalate issues when necessary.
Works with the delivery team to set and communicate release date and scope.
Works with Team Members to ensure products are working in production
Ability to monitor potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
Identifies improvements and codifies them for broader consumption.
Collaborates with all team members to promote an environment of empowerment and creativity.

Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
5 plus years relevant operations experience preferred
Experience and understanding of specialty operations and processes highly preferred
Experience working in an Agile lifecycle environment preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and make decisions with minimal supervision.
Takes initiative, independent thinker and worker.
Willingness to share opinions, adapt and take risk
Knowledge of Agile software lifecycle is preferred
Understanding and ability to write business requirements including use case development
Data analysis and reporting skills
Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and meet project deadlines
Knowledge of the PBM or healthcare industry preferred
Knowledge of customer service/patient interaction experience and pharmacy related processes
Strong oral and written communication skills as well as presentation abilities
High level of self-motivation, integrity, enthusiasm, and professionalism
Ability to influence others
Proven ability to work in a team environment
Ability to build strong relationship with peers across the organization
Ability to effectively work within a complex, matrix environment
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage workload and meet project deadlines.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 104,000 - 173,400 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
