This position is part of the Airplane Level Engineering and Integration team which has the primary role of improving engineering functional performance across all value steams and across the product lifecycle. The team will be developing new, full-stack, web-based, cloud applications with a focus on optimizing existing or new processes through connection to digital capabilities including model-based engineering, data analysis, and automation solutions.
This is a leadership position requiring extensive use of new technologies and development methods in addition to demonstrated ability to apply creativity to solve challenges. The successful candidate will have experience managing and developing in database formats including MS SQL and NoSQL. Specific experience in user interface development for a variety of use scenarios, devices, and platforms including analytics and user feedback and application interface improvement are essential.
Knowledge of Boeing Shared Services processes is preferred. Experience with Azure cloud services for data storage and data processing as well as development languages and tools including Blazor, ASP.net, C#, .Net Core, Entity Framework, Web APIs, and GitLab are required. In addition, strong collaborative and customer interaction skills as well as project leadership skills are important. Since the organization has a cross-functional integration role, the ability to work across large groups and negotiate solutions in a complex working environment is essential.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
This position is an onsite position. The selected candidate will be required to perform work onsite in Renton, WA.
Position Responsibilities:
Provides strategic guidance and expertise for the development, analysis, management and compliance verification of process and product baselines of highly integrated complex products. Strategically leads the definition and application of new methods and technologies for product and subsystem level technical design reviews and audits for new and derivative products.
Leads the analysis of highly complex product trades and/or changes. Represents the Company in the development of industry, national and international Configuration and Data Management standards.
Strategically integrates the definition and allocation of Configuration Management and Data Management requirements.
Provides strategic direction in the development of new and innovative methodologies for interface management of complex products.
Leads and directs the development, integration and implementation of engineering technical program plans.
Works under consultative direction.

Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Pay Range Level 5: $151,300-$204,700
