React Frontend Engineer - Workforce Management (WFM)

In order to continue to scale our fast-growing company, we are seeking a React Frontend React Engineer who has a passion for front-end web development to join our Workforce Management (WFM) team. Our WFM product enhances our customers’ ability to plan their labor needs and gain critical insights into their operators. You should have great product sense and be able to think through user experience issues before diving into the code, and you exhibit a love for great UI.

This is a full-time role, based in Downtown Dallas, Texas. We believe strongly in hands-on collaboration, and for the growth stage of our business, we rely on in-office, in-person dynamics to ensure we can move at a high pace with efficiency.

Job Summary

Your day-to-day work will require you to work with product managers, designers, and engineers from multiple teams. You will help solve the engineering problems of scaling our product, reducing latency, ensuring security, improving technical excellence, mentoring engineers, shaping up the team culture, influencing engineering processes, and helping to guide the direction of our products.

Responsibilities

• Design and build beautiful and user-friendly features, applications, and web pages
• Collaborate with the team and work independently in architecting, building, and testing code
• Participate in code reviews and provide overall code quality suggestions to help maintain the structure and quality of the codebase
• Keep up to date on cutting-edge technologies and effectively incorporate that knowledge into our platform roadmap, design, and implementation
• Embody our world-class tech team and company cultures

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in front-end engineering roles
• Solid understanding of React, NextJS, JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and CI/CD
• Solid understanding of system design patterns and complex systems
• Passion for solving new challenges, new problems, and reacting quickly to market changes and requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and report on the status
• Demonstrate strong time management skills
• Display high levels of coordination with other developers using digital tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Experience writing technical documentation and specifications
• Experience writing clean, performant, and testable front-end code
• Experience integrating 3rd party tools and libraries
• Ability to work in-office at our headquarters in Downtown Dallas, Texas
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
