The Engineering Environment Development & Support (EEDS) team provides coast to coast support to engineering and manufacturing organizations within Northrop Grumman. We are seeking candidates to expand our engineering process support staff due to growth in the business, our user base and process management capabilities.
The successful candidate needs to demonstrate strong analytical skills combined with service-oriented mindset, good communications skills, and attention to detail. The role will provide exposure to sector wide business areas, technologies, users along with engineering application vendors and internal application engineers.
The role requires regular interface with engineers.
This role offers the option of full-time telecommuting.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Maintain a current familiarity with CAD authoring applications
- Work with engineering staff to resolve user problems related to Teamcenter Unified developed processes
Basic Qualifications
- Associates Degree and a minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical design or manufacturing engineering.
- Candidates must have familiarity with CAD mechanical design tools and manufacturing processes.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- US Citizenship is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Siemens Teamcenter Unified
- Familiarity with standard engineering / manufacturing processes such as change management, part management, and Bill of Material/Process management.
- Familiarity with CAD design authoring tools such as NX, Creo, Solidworks, Xpedition, PADS, and/or Allegro
