Family Care has an exciting portfolio of Papermaking programs and projects that will continue our Bounty, Charmin, and Puff's brand leadership. We have a full master plan of product / process / equipment options to deliver the business needs over the next 3-5 years. The blended technical /community of Engineering and manufacturing is tasked to develop these technologies and reduce them to practice in a reliable, affordable, & timely manner. The Family Care Papermaking Engineering section is responsible to develop process and equipment solutions to meet these needs from Project Establishment through Launch.

We are looking for an individual who desires to be a key player in the development & execution of these key programs/projects on our Papermaking Process platform and fleet. The person filling this role will be process engineering technology leader focused in setting the strategy and leading the execution. The ideal candidate has demonstrated strong technical mastery, and equipment, process, and transformations knowledge.


Qualifications
  • A BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical... etc)
  • 2-6 years of experience in process and / or project engineering positions with demonstrated results (delivered projects, cost saving results, etc)
  • Engineering Packaging and Processing domain experience is a plus, but not required to have.

Job Qualification 1:

Strong leadership skills. Demonstrated technical project leadership of internal teams & vendors. Ability to proactively influence project direction, gain enrollment and alignment of other functional groups & key stakeholders.

Job Qualification 2:

Engineering execution experience in mechanical and electrical systems. Experience with papermaking, converting and packing processes preferred. Knowledge of web handling principles and modeling experience is a plus.

Job Qualification 3:

Proven ability to develop strong collaborative partnerships across multi-functional teams & organizations. This role will be required to have effective collaboration with R&D, Bounty and Charmin Hub Sites, Platform Management, Manufacturing, and Modeling & Simulation groups.

Job Qualification 4:

Ability to develop and implement standard approaches and work with vendors to deliver projects. Ability to lead work across central and site locations.

Job Qualification 5:

Technical process skills required, ideally recent experience with Family Care control platforms. Prefer a candidate with experience in applying modeling & simulation tools to the development of process improvement applications.

Other Information :

Travel to plant sites and suppliers will be required and will depend on the needs and phase of the specific initiatives you work on. Travel should be ~20% on average with peaks during the equipment vendor shakedown and site installation phases.

Starting Salary Range: $85-$115K

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
