The SAPUI5 Fiori Developer will design, code, unit test, debug, and implement SAPUI5 Fiori applications. This position will work as part of a SAP Development team.
Job Functions / Responsibilities
- Design, code, unit test, debug and implement SAPUI5 Fiori applications while working closely with functional teams
- Resolve open development issues and make decisions about alternate technical approaches
- Proactively provide work status
- Follow development standards and methodology
- Ensure that documentation is properly maintained
- Support the change control process
- Conduct code reviews with peers
- Support application upgrades
- Work Defects
- Develop test plans for new or modified programs
- Test, debug, implement, and document fixes
- Perform issue resolution and root cause analysis
- Provide advanced problem solving and technical support, including on-call critical support
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum five years of hands on experience in developing SAPUI5/Fiori applications
- Good understanding of FIORI concept, system architecture, FIORI Launch pad configuration and app integration
- Experience in OData Service consumption on UI using GET, PUT, POST methods
- Experience with SAP Web IDE or Visual Code/NodeJS for Web Development
- Extensive experience in HTML5, Java Script, CSS3, JSON, XML, and MVC Development framework
- Working knowledge of SAP DIMP primarily in an Aerospace and Defense setting a plus (not required)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, customer support environment and with all levels of the organization
