Universal Orlando Resort believes in-person collaboration is key to our success. Many of our Team Members work in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace a minimum of three days per week. JOB SUMMARY: Serves as business analyst for HR systems which includes PeopleSoft, document scanning, unemployment and other HR applications. Interfaces with end-users to assist in the understanding of systems and interprets business needs to apply technology for solving and supporting business requirements.

This position is based in Orlando, Florida and may require travel to other NBCUniversal parks and properties on occasion.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • HRIS functional liaison between business users, technology partners, and vendors. Understands the function of all HR systems, integrations and how they are used by the end-user. Effectively communicates with end-users to understand requirements. Researches and recommends process improvements to better utilize HR systems and/or enhance existing business processes.
  • Maintains and supports HR systems based on operational and regulatory requirements through the review, testing and implementation of upgrades, enhancements, patches and configuration. Coordinates activities with technology and functional teams. Documents processes and results. Maintains system tables/configuration.
  • Provides end-user support for access issues, application errors and data problems. Performs research and testing for fixes as needed and quickly resolves issues.
  • Creates and maintains HR reports and queries for all levels of the company using the appropriate tools. Analyzes impact on reporting when system changes occur.
  • Observes information security policies in accessing, securing and protecting confidential and sensitive information. Monitors and audits access.
  • Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree is desired, or commensurate work experience, in one or more of the following fields: Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Organizational Psychology, and/or Computer Science.

EXPERIENCE: 3+ years prior experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in PeopleSoft HCM core HR administration. Proficiency in PeopleSoft Query.
