Aftermarket & Sustainment Engineering (ASE) at Pratt & Whitney is seeking an experienced Engineer to join our team in support of Commercial and Military Engine programs. This role will can be located at one of our Aftermarket Operations (AMO) sites, at our Technology Accelerator located in Jupiter, Florida, or remote for the right candidate. Activities cover a broad spectrum of aftermarket technologies from additive manufacturing and adaptive machining, to advanced inspection. As a Technology Transition Engineer, you will create and implement transition plans for these technologies and others around our AMO Business Units. You will use your expertise to deploy repair capabilities, taking into consideration problems inherent in the transfer of technology from research to manufacturing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) progression activities for selected repair technologies with Pratt & Whitney AMO sites worldwide
- Support AMO sites in planning the allocation of resources, materials and personnel to establish maximum utilization of repair equipment
- Translate research on repair technologies into plans involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, and modification of repair capabilities
- Utilize studies pertaining to cost control, productivity improvement, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems in scoping repair capability
- Assist facilities engineers in planning and layout of repair cells
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience
- A minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, in gas turbine overhaul and repair, gas turbine engines repair technology, application and theory, OR
- An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience in gas turbine overhaul and repair, gas turbine engines repair technology, application and theory.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of Pratt & Whitney’s Engines Repair, PW Repair Centers, and PW Engine Services business is helpful.
- Advanced knowledge & experience in aerospace, automotive, or industrial business. Aviation and Aftermarket experience would be a big plus.

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 236,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
