About Job
The Director of Information Technology will be responsible of leading all plant Information Technology related activities and operations at the Foxconn Ohio facility.
As the Director of IT you will continue building a high-performance IT Team, work to execute our current SAP implementation, identify and eliminate security risks as well as design and administer new IT strategies and infrastructures.
This role provides exciting opportunity for the candidate to be part of the Foxconn’s EV journey and grow with it.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop strategy as it relates to the organization’s IT Infrastructure
- Provide direction, guidance, and training to IT Staff
- Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems
- Develop, manage, and track the IT department’s annual budget
- Ensure that IT and network infrastructure adequately supports the company’s computing and communication needs
- Communicates goals, projects, and timelines of the company to the department
- Identifies new IT developments and technologies, anticipates organizational modification
- Collaboration with other member of Leadership to identify ways IT can assist the company in achieving business and financial goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations in a timely and constructive manner
- Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Ideal Experience
- 10+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing large information technology projects
- 10+ years of experience in the following: manufacturing environment, MES and ERP
- 5+ years of experience in a mgt role on a director level, managing people, budgets and KPI's
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or other related field.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Excellent ability to conceptualize long-term business goals and develop orderly processes to accomplish those goals.
- Excellent managerial skills.
- Thorough understanding of information technology and information technology systems.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are an absolute requirement to establish and maintain professional, effective working relationship within and outside the company.

Work Environment and Physical Demands
- The factory has both office area and shop floor area. The noise level in the office area is generally quiet. Wearing of personal protective equipment’s (PPE) when visiting the shop floor is required.
