Job Description
The Software Application Developer Specialist, under direction, will help develop and maintain interactive web applications developed using C#, Python, REST APIs backed by a SQL database and using a progressive JavaScript front-end, Vue.js.
Responsibilities:

Development - Reviews, designs, codes, and tests complex programs, program modifications, or applications under supervision of the lead software developer. Develops specifications based on input from the customer.

Software Analysis - Evaluates software products and programming languages to determine their applicability to a specific system and/or project.

Reporting and Planning - Writes documentation of system procedures and guidelines for application users as well as for programs and program modifications.

Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

One year of experience developing software applications or related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience:
-
1 to 2 years professional experience developing software applications.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-
Experience with one or more of the following programming languages: C#, Python
-
Experience with front-end web development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
-
Experience with relational database systems

Ability to train under lead developer and learn existing development stack: ASP.Net Core C#, Python, REST API, SQL Server/MySQL, Vue.js, HTML/CSS with Bootstrap

Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience with ASP.Net Core web applications

Experience with front-end JavaScript frameworks: Vue.js, React, or Angular

Experience with SQL Server or MySQL

Working knowledge of standard computer and software applications

Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
Other Requirements
Training will be provided, but the applicant must have some basic experience developing web applications and a strong interest in learning new frameworks.
