Job Description
The position, under direction, will provide end user support, system administration, testing and business reporting for various Supply Chain business systems.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Obtains proficiency and provides technical support of the Supply Chain Management software application modules, which include, but are not limited to, Peoplesoft Procurement, Peoplesoft eProcurement, Peoplesoft Inventory and Peoplesoft Services Procurement
  • Troubleshoots a variety of end user computing and connectivity issues. Confers with personnel in resolving problems involving procedural and technical matters.
  • Performs extensive data mining activities.
  • Designs, builds and implements metrics, scorecards and reporting tools that will be used by various SCM personnel
  • Execute tests to validate appropriate system operation
The SCM Associate Resource will be introduced to Supply Chain Management functions at the entry level. The successful candidate will be able to continue progressing in this role or be able to cross train to support other SCM functional areas to include: Warehouse Operations, Property Management, Facility Management, Acquisition Services and Inventory, Acquisition Support, Small Business Program, Policy & Compliance, Business Engagement, and Technical Services.

responsible for:

  • Actively participate in SCM’s Tiered Operating Performance System (TOPS) process.
  • Identify and assist in the implementation of continuous improvements.
  • Perform entry level lifecycle assignments (e.g., warehouse, property, purchasing, facility, systems, etc.). See Attachment A:
SCM Functional Area Check List. The successful candidate’s tasks will have day-to-day management oversight.
  • Complete training requirements for positions as required by the company.
  • Obtain/Maintain proficiency on company designated systems/ applications for processing work.
  • Provide feedback to SCM managers in quarterly performance reviews and/or as needed to ensure performance issues are
addressed timely.

Basic Education Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline
  • Experience or coursework with SQL or other query languages or database tools
  • Experience, or relevant coursework, building simple databases or database objects such as queries, forms, tables
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Access
