The Opportunity

Mechanical Engineer
We are looking for bright minded Engineers with rotating equipment background to join our team!
Location: Bethlehem, PA (greater Philadelphia area)

Your Challenge:

Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.

Develop drawings and ordering data for components based on customer requirements.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and reports.

Using sound engineering analysis and judgement to develop recommendations for non-conforming material as needed.

Provide engineering design, support, and training to the manufacturing areas, and assess new and existing equipment to optimize efficiency, safety, quality, and cost effectiveness.

Assist in assembly and test departments to ensure pumps meet customer requirements. Document test results via technical test reports.

Train technicians and operators in manufacturing procedures to ensure consistent adherence of process specifications/standards and procedures.

Develop designs for research and development in support of strategic requirements.

Design new equipment and machinery to support the in-house needs of Manufacturing and Engineering.
Your Expertise:
-
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
-
2 plus years' experience in the same or similar role for complex rotating equipment
-
Rotating machinery experience
-
Knowledge of MIL-Specs
-
Material processing knowledge
-
US Citizen and able to obtain DOD clearance
-
AutoCad and Solidworks knowledge

Microsoft Office
