POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently seeking candidates to join our team of Product and Application Engineers. The Jr. Product Engineer will provide support to our senior level Product Engineer. In this role the successful candidate will learn and develop the knowledge and skills needed to understand Kraiburg TPE product offerings, the critical elements necessary to provide product recommendation and TPE formulation, and recipe development; identify and comprehend all technical and performance requirements for end-use applications to support new business development efforts with both current and prospective customers as targeted by the Sales team; fundamental knowledge around the TPE compounding process and formulation development; a working knowledge of TPE recipe development, raw material functionality, and extrusion parameters for manufacturing compounds; a thorough understanding of end-use markets and application expertise; learn the functionality and utilization of PISA as a support tool to assist in defining and fulfilling customer requirements related to new sales opportunities; fundamental understanding of all industry or regulatory compliance requirements for assigned market;
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Science degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Material Science or Chemical Engineering
- No experience required. knowledge of plastics compounding, thermoplastics and or material laboratory testing a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally.
- Direct experience with lab testing devices.

Kraiburg TPE offers a full benefits package to include company sponsored medical, dental, vision; retirement plan with company match, company paid basic life insurance coverage, company paid disability insurance, other supplement coverage along with PTO and paid holidays. Annual Salary Range: $65,000 to $75,000
