System Studies & Simulation, Inc ( S³ Inc.) is a woman owned small business founded in 1991, headquartered in Huntsville, AL, that provides technical, programmatic, and logistics services to US Department of Defense, other US Government Agencies, and Partner Nation militaries, co-located with Government requirements.
S³ has 3 wholly owned subsidiaries: KBFS- provides aviation pilot training, heavy lift, aircraft maintenance, and related aircraft services to Government and commercial requirements IAW multiple FAA certifications; S3I- OCONUS FMS technical services, maintenance, and aviation platform training; and, GLSS- SCA/CBA contract aviation maintenance.
GLSS is currently seeking an Aircraft Records and Logs Technician to support projects on Jacksonville NAS in Jacksonville, FL.
Description:
The Aircraft Records and Log Technician maintains aircraft and engine logbooks and associated records and performs all operator, data entry and retrieval functions associated with aircraft recordkeeping.
Responsibilities:
· Performs networking functions between individual stations, including analysis and correction of errors caused by software, hardware or data entry.
· Transmits and receives data via floppy disk, modem and other electronic means.
· Extracts data, formulates and interprets management reports, creates archives, backups, and data saves in support of military deployments and detachment operations.
· Performs a wide range of clerical and administrative duties related to aircraft maintenance, such as preparing reports and correspondence, filing and typing, performing data base and systems analysis.
· Transmit and receive data via floppy disk, modem and other electronic means
· Extract data, formulate and interpret management reports, create archives, backups, and data saves in support of military deployments and detachment operations.
