What you’ll be able to do:

The Body Control Software team develops software for vehicle features such as starting, locking, lighting, alarms, windows, powered enclosures, and seats. The candidate will be responsible for the software in a body module. This means that they would have a knowledge of the functional specification, support design review, help resolve vehicle/bread board issues. Engineering work experience and an understanding of embedded hardware and software design is preferred.

  • Translate product requirements into control system specifications
  • Resolve issues and/or ambiguities found in specifications during the vehicle development cycle
  • Work with the supplier software team explaining software requirements
  • Design state diagrams in Visio and develop Matlab Simulink models
  • Work in JAMA to develop software implementation requirements
  • Develop AutoSAR software components and generate ARXML with Davinci
  • Conduct software design review with Suppliers
  • Support vehicle launch
  • Generate functional specifications
The minimum requirements we seek:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field of study
  • 1+ years of experience in embedded hardware and software design
  • 1+ years of experience in control theory and algorithm design
  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office products
