HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Primary Responsibilities include maintenance, training, and support of plant IT systems and programs (phones, computers, servers, printers, and network)
  • Act as Corporate IT business partner with the plant and ensure the plant is meeting corporate IT guidelines and working within corporate IT policy and assist in implementing corporate-related IT strategies
  • Support the execution of IT projects, including monitoring project status and driving local activities to ensure timely completion, communicate project status and potential problems to supervisors, team members, and others as appropriate
  • Support the continuous technical improvement of the facility, equipment, warehouse, and production systems in support of plant business goals
  • Participate in the business planning and budgeting process. Develop short and long-term cost containment/reduction strategies
  • Develop and maintain IT processes and systems, and ensure adequate level of technical resources to support facility efficiency initiatives
  • This position is responsible for 24/7 support of the local IT environment and user community
  • Maintain an understanding of the plant’s infrastructure and equipment, identifying potential problems and opportunities


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Information Technology, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:

  • Proven history of leading IT projects and system integration and system migrations.
  • Associate degree or higher in IT field (Computer Science, Networking, Security).
  • Familiar with managing Network Configuration, Hardware, Software, and Business Processes.
  • Candidate must have the ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment with multiple priorities.
  • Work with all three shifts and all levels of employees.
  • Willing to travel 25% of the time to other plants.
  • Ability to support a food manufacturing environment with protective equipment.
  • Previous experience with GE Proficy MES is a bonus
