Peraton Overview:
Peraton is seeking a
Mid-level Blue Space DEVOPS Engineer to provide cybersecurity analysis for the Joint Mission Operations Center (JMOC). Location: Fort Meade, MD. This support includes the ability to provide hardware/software installations and upgrades; network support; technical recommendations for future operationSupport Army Cyber Command with the Joint Mission Operations Center (JMOC).
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5 Will consider: Edu/Exp: HS +11-14 Years,
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification
- Requires active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Polygraph
- Must be able to work shifts, weekends, holidays, as mission requires
- Strong expertise in enterprise linux administration
- programing/scripting skills (bash/python)
- familiarity with ansible and ansible tower
- experience with enterprise level storage solutions
- experience with enterprise level back and recovery solutions
- enterprise level hypervisor management experience
- experience with data center hardware management
Preferred:
- familiarity with JSON
- familiarity with enterprise level log management

Salary Range: Salary Minimum: $57,500 Salary Mid: $115,000 Salary Maximum: $143,800 The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position, and is just one component of Peraton's total compensation package for employees.
