We’re looking for a QA Engineer (Test Automation) with a minimum of 3 years’ industry experience in test automation. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of, and experience in, building test automation frameworks, automation tools, scripting languages, designing automation models and test strategy, testing methodologies and best practices, test scripts design, execution and defect reporting and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Drive test automation initiatives within organization and across different groups
• Study products and come up with test automation feasibility against manual test procedures and scenarios
• Responsible to develop test automation solutions for enterprise applications across different platforms like API, browser and mobile
• Design test automation strategy, automation plan, ROI, feasibility study and delivery roadmap
• Design and build automation test framework for web-based and mobile applications (e.g., data-driven, hybrid-framework)
• Participate in technical discussions with engineering teams to understand application architecture and APIs model
• Collaborate with QA Engineers and Software Developers to identify test automation scope and priorities
• Analyze failed tests and manage defects
• Collaborate with the development team to review changes to incorporate in automation framework and code
• Maintain automation code repository always in latest and up to date state
• Constant review of framework and automation scripts to support continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

• Ability to design and create robust web and mobile test automation framework, automated test scripts
• Capture requirements, do feasibility study, evaluate return on investment, analyze requirements and develop test automation solutions with a view of the end to end application flow
• Should be able to configure, maintain, and operate test automation tools and frameworks
• Strong experience in automating web application testing using Selenium WebDriver with TestNG framework, Appium, QTP, TestComplete e.t.c.
• Debug and maintain automation test scripts repository up to date with application and workflow changes
• Knowledge of generating test automation reports and explaining these to Management
• Writing test cases using Element locators, WebDriver methods, Java programming features and TestNG Annotations
• Involvement in test estimations and test strategy implementation
• Must have hands-on experience with automation using Java, Python, Ruby & JavaScript
• Experience in testing enterprise-wide products
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Basic knowledge of source management tools like GIT, SVN, e.t.c.
