This position is available for Guilford College student applicants only. If you are not a currently enrolled student at Guilford College, do not apply for this position.
This is a Cadre-supported Summer 2023 position. As such, the successful candidates must be current students of Guilford College. They will receive $10/hour and $1,000 toward summer classes.
- Help design and maintain a permanent website for the Guilford Undergraduate Seminar (GUS)
- Help design and maintain an updated website for the Folio Project
- Design, writer, and edit some web content
- Evaluate written code to ensure that it meets industry standards and that it is compatible across browsers and platforms
- Update, create, and maintain technical documentation as needed
- Maintain a professional understanding of web development by tracking trends and participating, where possible, in development groups
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Current Guilford College student
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and APIs
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage diverse projects and activities simultaneously
- Ability to communicate effectively individually and with groups both orally and in writing
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Must be friendly, positive, patient, and professional
