In this position you will develop processes and introduce and transfer new contract-manufactured parts to production. This position requires adaptability to work with a variety of processes while refining process settings, tooling and documentation from concept through production ramp. This position will work in a dynamic, innovative and collaborative environment including hands-on work.

The following challenges await you:
  • Involved in prototyping, process development, confirmation runs, and validation. Available to support and troubleshoot production or production ramp issues as needed.
  • Work with subject matter experts and cross functional groups to ensure that proper technology processes are developed, implemented, maintained, and documented to successfully introduce new products into manufacturing.
  • Assume responsibility for completeness and accuracy of developed processes (i.e., lead, manage, communicate, complete documentation, train) including ownership of process capability, process quality, and process costs.
  • Assist in new equipment/tooling identification, procurement, installation qualification, document creation, and training. May participate in execution of these activities as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned as required.

Your profile:
  • Associate’s Degree in Engineering or related field required. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • Process experience in one or more of the following preferred: medical device or component manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or laser ablation/welding/marking
  • Process capability or data analysis experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English. Must be able to clearly articulate and listen attentively to questions, concerns and feedback from coworkers and customers. Must be able to create legible, accurate, and detailed documents that clearly communicate product and manufacturing expectations.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing equipment and CAD/CAM preferred
  • Must be willing and able to work between the White Bear Lake and Fridley, Minnesota location as business needs require
