Responsibilities

As a sensors systems prototyping engineer, you will be exposed to a broad range of technical challenges ranging across application areas from space to medical to defense. In this role you will help develop novel and test novel sensors that combine advanced physics smart processing algorithms. As such, ideal candidates will have experience with signal and image analysis, electronic hardware development, CAD software, and rapid prototyping. The individual must be highly self-motivated and must thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills are a necessity.

Qualifications

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s in mechanical, computer, electrical engineering, or physics
  • Experience with:
    • Signal and/or image analysis
    • Rapid prototyping
    • FPGA programming
    • Electronic hardware development
    • CAD software
  • Desire to develop novel technology
  • Hands on experience in the lab
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are a necessity
Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance which requires proof of US citizenship.
