We are currently seeking a Web Software Developer - Intermedi to join our team in Fort Knox, Kentucky (US-KY), United States (US).
This position, under general supervision, develops, codes, tests, and debugs new software and enhancements to existing web software. Competent to work on fairly complex programs with guidance. Works with technical staff to understand problems with web software and resolve them.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a US citizen and able to obtain an interim secret clearance prior to start
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 6 years of web development experience to include:
- developing, troubleshooting, and debugging Java code
- working as part of small agile teams
- developer testing and test automation
- working with stakeholders on software design
- developing documentation
- Security+ CE
- 8570 IAT II computing environment certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience working in an Agile environment
- 2+ years’ experience supporting DoD or Army clients in a management or leadership role
- Possesses and applies broad knowledge of applications programming principles
- Competent to analyze diverse and complex problems
- Competent to work in all phases of applications programming
- Knowledge includes advanced work on standard applications programs including coding, testing and debugging
- Advanced ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors
- Advanced understanding of how technology decisions relate to business needs
