Technology Specialist II - Endpoint Engineering - Digital and Technology Partners, Req#2835086

This is a hybrid work environment, 1- 2 days onsite weekly.

The Information Technology Specialist II is an engineering position on the Endpoint Engineering Team within Workplace Technology Services. This team is responsible for the strategic direction of the end user computing experience (hardware and OS standards). Additionally, this team defines requirements and develops solutions using current and next generation technologies. This includes but is not limited to: SCCM, Intune, JAMF, PowerShell, Azure, etc. This position requires extensive knowledge and experience in OS builds and troubleshooting (Windows 10, Windows 11, Mac OSX). This position is to be able manage endpoints using cloud technologies such as Intune and JAMF. Highly developed troubleshooting skills are a must.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Utilize Azure AD and Intune to manage all endpoints. Conditional access, MEM, Co-Management (with SCCM), Endpoint Analytics, Auto-pilot, Azure Virtual Desktops.
• Intune experience to manage all BYOD devices including Windows, Macs, and mobile devices. Proper segmentation of scopes/tags to ensure no overlap.
• Migrate, support and engineer solutions for O365 (M365), OneDrive and Zoom on Windows, Macs and mobile devices.
• Provide 3rd level support for all things related to OS, builds, application support and all other areas in our purview.
• Managing projects, keeping track of deliverables in a timely fashion and working independently are a must.
• Extensive Experience with SCCM for builds, application deployment, patching and reporting.
• JAMF for Mac deployment, configuration, applications and compliance.
• Mac engineering, scripting, terminal commands, OSX versions and troubleshooting.
• Scripting knowledge such as PowerShell, JSON, Python is highly recommended.

Requirements

Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline preferred; Master’s degree preferred

Experience Requirements

• Ten years of related experience, in-depth knowledge of associated technology areas mentioned above; healthcare technology experience preferred.

Licensing and Certification Requirements (if applicable)

• Technical certifications preferred (ie. Microsoft, Jamf)

Compensation

The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $120,000.00 - $180,060.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
