AutoZone is looking for a technology leader to help build the future of Information Security in one of the most exciting and growing retail organizations. We are on a journey to transform our digital experience - as Director specializing in Information Security, you will be responsible for leading multiple teams of engineers and collaborating with other Digital teams in delivering secure and reliable solutions resulting in an unmatched experience for our customers. A successful candidate will have a broad background across the spectrum of enterprise information security, a hands-on approach to technical management, great project management and communication skills, and an eagerness to grow with a team as they take on increasing responsibility.
What We are Looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, MIS or related field required
- 8+ years of well-rounded experience in enterprise (Fortune 500 preferred) IT security engineering and operations, application and data security, identity and access management, incident response, cloud security, and / or risk management
- Balanced mix of technical and management experience with demonstrated and increasing capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to present technical concepts to business and executive leadership
- Proven history of delivering results in large / complex / cross-functional projects
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple work streams
- CISSP required
Influence and Leadership Responsibility:
- This role will be responsible for managers, engineers, and analysts with varying levels of experience across a wide range of duties. Some employees will be remote and / or international, routinely leveraging a diverse group of contingent workers as well as interns.
- As an expert in your field, we will require you to participate as a member of the IT Management Team in functional activities such as planning, budgeting, special projects, and other initiatives that span the organization.

- As a director, you will be challenged to intake business partner requests based on a cost-benefit analysis of the business benefit and to also provide counsel to business management.
- Your role will be highly influential by directing the design and development of modifications to current systems and/or creation of new systems to meet business partner needs in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- In addition to implementation, you will also be responsible for support of our existing technologies, with a proactive troubleshooting mindset and a sense of urgency responding to incidents
- We will require that you direct the effective implementation of new systems including roll-out support, business partner training, performance monitoring and ongoing maintenance.
- Give direct guidance to teams on change management, vulnerability management, vendor management, and lifecycle management
- Foster relationships with business managers and cross-functional delivery team member
