MEP Designs, Inc. is looking for a Mechanical Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience in building engineering systems design. EIT or PE licensed preferred.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Designing mechanical systems including heating and cooling systems, air distribution, ventilation, air conditioning and building automation and controls.
• Development of system design calculations, and selection of equipment for use in buildings.
• Preparation of detailed design documents.
• Performing QA/QC of design work.
• Ability to lead project teams and serving as the primary contact for discipline with clients.
• Coordinating work with other disciplines.

The successful candidate will possess the following minimum qualifications:

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience.
• Ability to pursue their Registered Professional Engineer license in the District of Columbia, Maryland or Virginia with the capability to get licensed in other states.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Manassas, VA 20109: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
