Job Description
Performs in a collaborative environment to develop and implement manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, fabrication, and material handling. Incorporates engineering changes into standard work instruction as well as non-standard instructions. Analyzes 3D based model data environment to optimize manufacturing process and digital work instructions. Leverages understanding of materials and automatic processes to define operations procedures and build sequences to drive operational excellence. Leverages factory data to develop statistical process control approaches and integrates reporting and data analytics solutions for continuous improvement. Provides input to product design regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Issues Green Cards and Redlines for engineering releases for aircraft in production.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Maintenance and/or manufacturing planning experience

  • Experience with manufacturing processes and procedures.

  • Experience using MS Word and Excel

  • Experience working in a team environment
Desired Skills:
  • Ability to create graphical work instructions
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Bill Of Materials (MBOM) structure
  • Previous experience in technical writing
  • Previous experience writing manufacturing work instructions
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering documents and drawings (F16 drawings preferred)
  • Experience with SFM/CAPP/EWI and QADS

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
