The candidate will serve as a Process Engineer in a 24X7 analog wafer fab producing 150mm & 100mm wafers in BiCMOS, CMOS, and bipolar silicon technologies. Targeted training and development will be multi-disciplinary based on candidate’s background.

Responsibilities include learning the manufacturing process assignments and then supporting manufacturing in resolving daily problems that may occur. In addition, executing projects in one or more functional process areas to optimize cost, quality, and cycle time and meet annual business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have related exposure, knowledge and training on semiconductor fabrication equipment. Capability to execute various process improvement projects will be expected during the first year of your assignment.
In addition, the successful candidate will learn the metrology equipment used to characterize and measure various process and product characteristics. These metrology tools include multiple forms of spectroscopy, X-Ray, optical, SEM as well as electrical evaluation methods.

The candidate will learn how these processes interact with CMOS/DMOS and bipolar devices used to manufacture silicon semiconductors used in the commercial and industrial marketplace. Device sizes range from .5um to 10um.

Required Skills:

  • BS in microelectronic, materials, chemical, electrical engineering or similar engineering degree
  • Graduation must not have occurred greater than 1 year prior to the start date
  • Willingness to work in a clean room environment and follow strict clean room requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • General knowledge of statistical data analysis techniques and methods is essential.
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Detail orientated, team player with good verbal & written communication skills
  • Qualified to work in an ITAR environment
