The Division of Technology Services (DTS) is looking for a motivated, self starter who wants to work from home (must live in Utah) working with an incredible group! The candidate chosen will work with the administrative services support section of DTS. The chosen candidate will be assigned to assist with the management of procurement, distribution, and audit of Software for the State Executive Branch. Assignments will include working closely with agencies and vendors for all software, installation, keys, procurement, billing, inventory tracking, and inventory audits.

Example of Duties

  • Software inventory management (order tracking, distribution/installation, billing, key management, audit, reconciliation)
  • Develops logs and/or report.
  • Assists customers in finding products, making selections and purchasing items.

Typical Qualifications

  • Knowledge of licensing, renewals and day to day management of software.
  • Knowledge of principals, theories and practices of inventory control.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe license agreements as well as software licensing structures.
  • Great organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle a large number of tasks and processes.

  • Employment contingent on passing a drug screening and a background check.
  • Risks found in the typical office setting, which is adequately lighted, heated and ventilated, e.g., safe use of office equipment, avoiding trips and falls, observing fire regulations, etc.
  • Typically, the employee may sit comfortably to perform the work; however, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying light items; driving an automobile, etc. Special physical demands are not required to perform the work.
