Job Summary:

Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for a Senior AEM frontend developer candidate with 8+ years of experience.

Location: Remote. Candidates should be in the USA.

Duration: Full Time only - "Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.).”

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Technical Skills

AEM 6.3+, preferably 6.5

Understanding of Adobe Core Components (Javascript/ES6, Listeners, LESS/CSS3, BEM,HTL)

SCSS, CSS3

JavaScript (Vanilla, ES6 + Object Oriented)

JQuery

BEM Notation and BEM-Hybrid Notation

AEM/Bootstrap Grid

Section 508 as it relates to Front-End development and best practices.

Node JS, NPM, MVN, Git, Webpack.

Superior debugging skills from Web browser.

AEM Customizations for (Dialogs, Component Toolbar, Adobe Core Component JS)

Ability proxy and create basic/custom AEM components without the requiring back-end assistance for components that don’t require custom Java Sling Model

Has developed dialog listeners, dialog data validation and AEM 6.5.

Has created at least one custom plug-in for each of the following : Authoring Dialogs, Component Toolbar, Rich Text Editor).

Understands, can replicate and/or expand the complex Javascript written for the Adobe Core Components.

HTL Proficiency is a MUST.

Soft Skills:

Willing to work on high-pressure projects with shortened timelines.

Ability to adapt to changing project deliverables with continuity for delivery to adapted plan.

Ability to provide accurate estimates and complete tickets close to before the estimated time has expired.

Ability to guide others to create standardized code in support of the current platform design.

Education

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Should be self-motivated, self-starter with clear communication skills who thrives working in a team environment.
