Job Description
The Sponsor relies on a variety of software capabilities to perform its duties. The Sponsor requires support specializing in SharePoint development. Work will include performing new development, enhancements, Maintenance and Operations (O&M) tasks, and providing ad-hoc user support. Project priorities shall be managed by the Sponsor’s Information Technology (IT) Leader or designate. The web developer will execute SharePoint tasks as necessary to support the Sponsor’s information technology enterprise, comply with Sponsor requirements or IT best practices, and provide a full range of SharePoint support assistance. They will support SharePoint development and upgrades and interact with end users to gather or elucidate requirements, explaining end user procedures and techniques either in person or over the phone to users. The web developer will also interact with Sponsor’s staff and contractors, participate in vendor support meeting in order to resolve issues, comply with IT enterprise oversight requirements, and perform all necessary functions required to maintain the Sponsor’s SharePoint application.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidate must have an active TS/SCI with a Full Scope Polygraph
- Requires Bachelors with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 4-8 of prior relevant experience. Additional years of experience can be accepted in lieu of a degree.
- Demonstrated experience working as a SharePoint Developer.
- Demonstrated experience working with users to identify, validate, and prioritize SharePoint site requirements.
- Demonstrated experience creating and enhancing workflow architectures in SharePoint.
- Demonstrated experience migrating SharePoint sites and developing new sites with improved functionality.
- Demonstrated experience using a Bootstrap front end framework to enhance user experience.
- Demonstrated experience improving performance, stability, and optimization of SharePoint sites.
- Demonstrated experience with JavaScript.
- Demonstrated experience with security aspects of SharePoint.
- Demonstrated experience as a SharePoint Site Collection Administrator (SCA) and the ability to obtain within the Sponsor’s organization.
- Demonstrated experience performing Create, Read, Update and Delete (CRUD) operations using the Representational State Transfer (REST) interface provided by SharePoint.
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage document libraries.
- Demonstrated experience with HTML5.
- Demonstrated experience with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS v3 or higher).
- Demonstrated experience using JavaScript programming including jQuery.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining SharePoint sites, custom lists, content types, and workflows.
- Demonstrated experience using SQL Report Builder and SharePoint Designer.
- Demonstrated experience creating and enhancing Vector or Raster graphics using the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Demonstrated experience using PowerShell scripts for systems automation and for creating administrative tasks in SharePoint.
- Demonstrated experience in creating graphical user interface pages tailored to user needs.
- Demonstrated experience developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining web sites.
- Demonstrated experience conducting quality assurance on web sites.
- Demonstrated experience designing architectures to support user requirements.
- Demonstrated experience communicating technical and non-technical recommendations for improving user interfaces.
Desired Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience creating and managing document libraries using SharePoint Online to enhance user collaboration and communication.
- Demonstrated experience using SharePoint InfoPath Forms.
- Demonstrated experience updating documents and libraries.
